Instructional Support Workflow

As Instructional Support, you sit between Engineering, Operations, and Curriculum: you make the platform-side updates that Customer Success Managers and Tutor Support request, and you’re the bridge for the instructional material itself, how Tutors can teach and understand it well enough to teach students effectively.

Read the overview below start to finish once, then come back to any section when you need the detail.

The Flow

  1. Platform Data Requests - making the changes Customer Success Managers and Tutor Support ask for.
  2. Working With Engineering and Curriculum - flagging improvements and supporting the curriculum team.

Platform Data Requests

When a Customer Success Manager or Tutor Support needs something changed in the platform, like updating a program’s details, creating groups and sessions, or uploading and modifying students in a group, you make the change and let the requester know it’s done.

Working With Engineering and Curriculum

You also flag feature ideas and platform improvements that would make day-to-day operations smoother, and work directly with Engineering on product design. Separately, you help the curriculum team create and edit teaching materials, and how Tutors are meant to use them.

More will be added here as we work through the rest of the Product Hub and the School Flow doc.
