If something in the platform looks wrong, whether it’s a bug, unexpected behavior, or data that doesn’t look right, post it in #learning-platform-support. That’s the only Slack channel to use for this kind of escalation.
When you post, include:
- A link to where the issue is happening, unless you’re currently assuming the identity of the Tutor, Student, or Faculty member involved. In that case, skip the link and name the person, School, or Group instead: a link captured while assuming someone’s identity just sends whoever clicks it later to their own dashboard, not theirs.
- Screenshots or a screen recording of the actual issue, one of the most useful things you can include.
- Copied and pasted text, if the issue involves an email, like someone requesting help. Don’t screenshot it. A screenshot can’t be copied and pasted later if the issue needs to be filed as its own ticket.
